Class Requirements

 

-CPR Certification

If you do not have one, you can enroll in a CPR class at the time of your online EMT Course registration for an additional $60.

Refund Policy

as of January 2021

Students are eligible for a full refund, minus a $25 (EMT) or $50 (AEMT) administrative fee, if registration is cancelled within two weeks after the start of the course.

 

 

EMT Classes

What is an EMT?
The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course trains students to save in a wide variety of emergency situations. The EMT course allows providers to serve on ambulances and is also a prerequisite to many professional firefighting jobs and paramedic programs. When

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings 6:30-10:00pm beginning Mon, Sept. 6th.

Dates- Exact Dates TBD

The New Hampshire Scope of Practice Module will be included during the class.

 

Where

Wednesday labs will be held at the University of New Hampshire campus in Durham, NH. Please note: UNH requires that visitors to campus either; provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination or provide a negative COVID test with 7 days of each entry to campus. The registration form will ask for you to upload a picture of your COVID vaccination record.  Labs will be held at:

Unvaccinated individuals must make arrangements to receive a COVID-19 PCR-based test at their own expense every week they will be in lab to comply with this policy.  Please contact us to discuss this option.

Tuition

$1000 EMT (without CPR).

$250 deposit due at the time of registration, full tuition due by September 30th. Flexible payment plans are available. Please email Ian Hanley at ihanley@mcgregorems.org for more information.

 

Note: Books, testing, CPR, and certification fees are NOT included in tuition costs. You must also have a professional CPR certification to complete the course. You can obtain this yourself, or take our course for $60, which is built into the course schedule. All of our EMT classes include the required NH Scope of Practice Modules.

Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from late January until mid-April.

 

Classes run from 6:30pm-10:00pm.

 

CPR will be offered for those who need it. The New Hampshire Scope of Practice Module is built into the course.

 

Where

Monday and Tuesday night lectures and Wednesday night labs will be held at New Hampshire Hall, UNH (124 Main St. Durham, NH)

 

Tuition

$1000  ($250 deposit due at time of enrollment, remainder due by Feb 28th)

Included: Tuition, online test-taking and practice subscription, lab materials, NH EMT Scope of Practice module.

 

Optional Add-Ons: BLS Provider CPR ($60).

Note: Textbook ($113), national and state exam fees are NOT included.
